Beautiful blue skies, shiny red SLK, Bank Holiday weekend.... pretty perfect.
We headed off this morning to drive part of the Mourne Scenic Route along the County Down coast.
We headed towards Bangor and turned down through Helens Bay (cue lots of 'look at that house, that is amazing', repeat) we headed on down through Crawfords, Bangor to Groo mm sport and Donaghadee.
We stopped off at Saints and Sinners in Donaghadee for coffee and scones (both of which were great). The menu looked great and we'll be back for lunch or tea.
On down the coast we stopped at Ratallagh to gaze across the blue/green sea towards the Isle of Man.
Further on in the blazing sun, top down, (cap on), we took the ferry from Portaferry to Strangford then past the Quoile and home for lunch.
Saw 4 SLK's out today, all with the tops down.
