Just completed a two week trip to the Black Forest and back with my better half. 1847 miles, 55.6 mpg, in a heatwave with the top down every day.
Included a blast in the autobahn at 120mph and car was rock solid.
what did I learn?
The French have cockerels at their hotel.
The Atomium in Bruxelles is well worth a visit but all Belgian cars are grey, they also drink bubble tea which is mango flavour drink with washing machine tabs in.
Luxembourg is like south Belgium but with less character- keep driving.
Freibourg in the German black forrest is lovely with great food wine and beer.
All german cars are black and BMW’s have working indicators, the lakes have naked paddle borders.
The route through France is spectacular, the French never wash or repair damaged cars.
Hope you like the photos.
