Around the end of April or beginning of May, I'm going to be driving from Tijuana up the Pacific Coast to Bellingham Washington, and him looking for suggestions for places and people to visit along the way.
If any of you happen to be on my route, I gladly drive a bit out of my way to make sure I got to see some other phenomenal SLKs, and get to meet some new folks along the way.
If you've got any suggestions please feel free to throw those out. I'm going to be documenting and recording the majority of the drive and sharing it on YouTube, along with the maintenance and drives I take in the meantime, so it'll be a neat collection of videos over the course of likely two to three weeks.
Thanks for any input you can offer, and I look forward to seeing some great cars and fresh faces along the way!
I'm currently in Tucson and will be here until the end of April, so if there's anyone in the area that wants to get together in the meantime, I'd be down for that as well!
Thanks,
Hadley

Lots of people along that route I'm sure. We might be able to organize something in Southern California either in San Diego or Los Angeles area. Further north is the Sacramento group that has tons of people coming out for their drives. And I'm sure Oregon and Washington can muster some folks as well. I'm in San Diego myself so your drive would've only just begun before you hit this town :D.

I'm down to really make this a huge endeavor. I'm not rushed to get from one end of the country to the other.
Getting to see more folks is a huge point for me, and getting to meet up with other car enthusiasts, and especially MB and SLK folks is an exciting prospect.
As we get closer I'll hone in my dates, but it's likely going to kick off around the last week of April. 😁👍

Wife & I live just off Hwy 101, on the central Oregon coast. We live in a tourist town called Depoe Bay. There is 1 stoplight in a town of about 1300. When the whales go by in mid - March going north, & mid- Sept. going back to Baja from Alaska. tourists flock to see them. We normally have about 13000-14000 Gray whales go by, as well as a few Humpbacks & Killer whales. Quite a show. Drop me an email if you are going to be in the area & first round is on me.
Hwy 101 is a beautiful road, a bit slower than the I-5, but a very nice drive.

Amazing! I'm definitely taking my time, so you'll likely see me along the coast.
I'll make my way into Portland for a bit, but the drive is gonna be centered on the 101.
I look forward to taking you up on the offer!
