So I just found out that in Spain you have to display a UK sticker even if you have the UK flag and symbol on your number plate. The problem is that there is precious little space to properly stick a magnetic Uk compliant sized sticker on the back of the car and I dont want to fix one on permanently. Anyone on the forum found a solution for this?

I'll admit that I have not read the exact requirements by the Spanish authority but maybe use a sticker?
To the side of the plate, or on the bumper.

If you polish before applying then it can easily be removed afterwards, should you wish.
Just warm with a hairdryer and peel.
We did this for large tour stickers (I say 'we', her car & my efforts)

All were easy to remove.
