I'd warm the car up plenty.
Make sure the body is warm too.

Then I might consider.

Plan B
You want to be certain of the roof come milder weather.
Open windows fully and turn off seats, airscarf etc.

Feels similar,

Just do it. I wear a sheepskin flying jacket which is cheating a little but........
