I have a 2003 model 200 compressor. It has done me well, clocking up 60k miles since i bought it and now has 130k miles.
I read somewhere that you should change the oil in the autobox before it causes issues. Is this right?

Mercedes liked to tell us that these 722.6 5G boxes did not need changing but changed their mind. I would recommend you go to a good indy or stealer and have them do a full service including taking an hour to pull the conductor plate down and cleaning the screens in the solenoids. I did this for the first time and was amazed at the **** he showed me on the screens,

Yes i read that Merc changed their mind. I had a Honda that had a ctv auto system and one i changed the oil it was like new and juddering and grinding noises went. However that was easy to do. Just spent on tyres x4 and new discs/pads.Need to get a quote. Have a 130k on the card and not sure it is worth the 'investment'. That said engine runs superbly.
