Hello everyone,

Just cleaned off a junkyard BRABUS muffler and it looks amazing!
Sadly i discovered a problem.
this is the before and after results of cleaning:
Automotive Exhaust Exhaust system Fender Muffler Bumper
Pipe Automotive Exhaust Exhaust system Muffler Titanium

After prying the old rusted out heatshields out of the tips i discovered some nasty rust on the inside.
I paid 30 bucks for the muffler and want to know if its worth the hassle of cutting it open trying to fix whatever i can.
Or just let it be and mount it the way it is.
If there is another DIY option please enlighten me.

Inside the pipes:
Pipe Automotive Exhaust Cylinder

I first will mount it on the car, just to know how it sounds.
If its not too noisy I will let it stay the way it is.

if anyone has a brabus muffler on their supercharged M111 I'm very intersted in a proper sound test.
the internet doesn't come up with a lot of results where you can purely hear the sound.
