I have never seen one. To me its a non issue with M111 pre facelift. Might be wrong....

It is a Good Idea to do this, there are not only SLK who got this Problem. Other MB Car with this Engine Series are also affectet. The cable are Realtiv Cheap. This is an Example pretty sure u can Buy this from Aftermarket.

The oil stop cable from that shop is for the M111 EVO. As is the video.

For the M111 of the pre facelift you'd need a slightly modified connector.

Autodoc used to sell one. Never really saw the point since I never recognised the issue on the early cars.
