Takeing the whole fron apart. removing Oil cooler, water cooler, ac condensor, compressor, water pump and all kinda stuff.
Since i dont have a working ac (or leaking) the best is to take a look at it. And when it was removed i understand why it not work... totaly broken i both top and bottom... tested to look at it with flourens light and googels... im still wonder how the hell it could keep some gas in it...
Wery well.. need the orginal numer for it to see if i can find a pirate part ... since i guess the orginal is EXPENSIVE...

While im takeing everyfing apart i wonder what i need to change to new parts,
COmpressor is removed and i have new oil for it.
will change all fluids, break, steering, cooling, motor.

Will keep theis thread as a contiue story about it.

And Hello again guys @jbanks15 @M4rCu5 @Avel Du @Alex.M-oneeleven @capmalo @BaD_81

Wise saying amongst Mercedes owners.
Do not assume that Mercedes parts are the most expensive.
Sometimes cheaper, or close to non MB part prices. In these instances it makes more sense to go MB.
Why? Well, your original lasted 26 years.

You can look up parts using your VIN in the links in this thread:

As @M4rCu5 says, photos.
You never know, our experts may be able to save you money if they can see the problem.

The compressor is not holding pressure, it has one way pressure plate. When the pistons (how many you have 6,8,12) are pushing, the valve (pressure plate moves forward an then closes) is letting the refrigerant out there is the pressure holder - condenser, liquid line receiver all before the TXV. I have shared documents from here and there and they provide sufficient info! Yet with pics is clearer!

I’ve missed all the pics above for whatever reason.
How far are you?
I see your SC is constantly ON,
The condenser is gone. That requires and filter dryer.

Recently someone asked about oil for the supercharger have you changed yours? What oil you used?

Everything has stoped due some family issues. Had to put money into other things for a few mth. But now im into it again.
Will change oil in sc, got that already.
New condenser is home.
At the moment im cleaning all aluminium things with glass blasting.
Renovating fuelinjectors and some other stuff.
Tearing down breaks to sandblasting and paint in RS Blue color. New discs and calipers.
All 3 electronic boxes (k40 and ecu and one more) is on its way to get resolder and optimized to stege 1.
Cleaning the sc cooler
New oil in motor, new filter.
New oil in rear axel.
Thinking of flush automatic gearbox, but not sure.
Looking around for new seats, more like comfort rally seats black/blue ones.
New 1 din stereo with 7" screen.
New 6.5 speakers in doors with tweeters at windscreen and 2 new 6.5 " behind seats. All driven by a 4*250w AI-SONIC amp.
In The trunk a bass-pipe with 2*10" subwoofers. And yes it fits if you mount it as far in as you can in trunk and the cab will work. Already tried to put a pipe and tried.
New windscreen.

And if i got time and money, new whole car paint to a new blue. Not original, one little more bluemetallic.

I think thats all..............

Working animal Wood Gas Art Snout

Ok, now i dont know what im doing...
Started with engine and fixing some stuff. Starting to remove any hardware that has a bolt on it. Now suddenly im at the back of the car. Removed driveshaft and the center bearing is sooooo bad. The rubber is gone. New orderd.
And while im at it, why dont take the rear diff down and make it look good and change sealings on each side (outgoing 2pcs) and incoming (1 seal).
Then paint it.
Done some sandblasting soo the rust is gone.

Now i Wonder.... Is it no gasket between the diff house and the back plate?

On this it was only some rubber seal.

Yepp, smells bad.
Well, its only 150 Celsius.
All aluminium except waterpump.
But looks good.
Now im working on valve cover to be silver metallic. And the top cover blue metallic. Same with the last peice of inlet on top.
Charger is painted silver and a few more things.

Still wonder what i need to make everything of plastic and rubber hoses black again.

Mounting calipers and breakpads back and front.
Do i mention that i hate to change handbreak pads.. Those springs are soo hard. Bloddy knuckels and some words i cant write here or i will be banned for lifetime.

Well after back breaks are there time for front.
Mounting discs and the bracket.
Time to mount calipers.
Left side first. Looking realy good.
Mounting right side...
Hummm..... The nippel for takeing out air is not on the top, its at the bottom...
Gaghhhh bought 2 left calipers...
Brand new and painted blue.
Soo if anyone wants a blue left side front caliper just tell me and you can get it for free.
