Alright time for an upgrade... I already modified my 30 APS with a bluetooth module, works great for daily use. However the unit has too much distortion at high volume. So I was looking for a good unit to pair with my ACM2.300 amp and FOCAL ES165K speakers on board. I was lucky to find a brand new P99RS from 2013. Never taken out of it's box! I always wondered how the 99rs will look on the R170 but could not find any pictures on the net.

I don't care that it has no BT since I plan to use my iphone as source for audio. This unit is capable of playing lossless audio via lighting cable. During bench testing I was able to swich to apple 24bit / 48Hz lossless and it worked just fine.

Let's see how the installation will go.
