I want to show some of the things I have done on my R170 , the car was 1200 euro and it was in a bad shape in the interior especially , and the first thing I have done was maintenance which were just the standard stuff no any major ones , and in winter I started remaking the interior , those 2 photos were from the day I first saw it when I test drive it:

And after months of searching for parts and remaking it , I can say its 95% done such as airbag problems and central locking stuff but I am getting there , and it looks like this:

I made the wiring of the steering wheel controls with a help from @Dave2302 and the rest of things with some ideas from the forum.
The whole dashboard is painted with abrasive paint something like a sandpaper feel and it isn't coming off thankfully
I installed a 6.1 audio setup with the subwoofer under the passenger footwell , twitters with crossovers on top of the dash
And at night I made some sort of ambient lighting similar that you find in the E class of the same era ( light under the dash , door handles , center mirror)
And the Seats from a R171 and I am trying to retrofit the heated seats and Airscarf also.
I am very happy with how it worked out and I want to know your opinions and maybe go in depth of how I made it
