Do you have D2 Racing Coilovers on your R170 ?

Hey @Martin.E, I noticed you're digging for more info and photos of the D2 coilovers on an R170. What are you hoping to achieve with the new suspension on your 230 Kompressor—is it mostly for stance, or are you looking for a big change in handling? Sharing a bit more about your goals might help others with that kit chime in with their experiences

The car is now being built for track racing. But will also be driven on the street.
But what I would like to see is what springs you got with your D2 kit and if it was a problem free installation or if parts needed to be adapted to get it on your SLK.

The company D2 says that they have sold many kits for SLK cars and then surely some of these owners should be on this forum?

This is very likely too late but Ground Control in the US offer a variety of suspension parts for the R170, they would be my choice.
