Hi, i want a powerfilter for sound purpose, but dont wish to make the car inhale warm air to much. U guys think it would be a good idea to leave the top of the airbox off, then plug a NON OILED powerfilter cone on there and lay it in the box? I think it would look and sound rlly good! Any comments or things i have to think about?

Go for a decent drive and then put your hand on top of the bonnet above the air box. Will give you an idea of heat in the space under there.
I suspect that race and rally cars have a lot more air movement under the bonnet, partly down to air ducting and venting and also speed, And they don't often stop at road junctions and traffic lights
