I've just clamped my MAP sensor with a 4000 ohms resistor to fool the overboost from the ECU, however, I'm getting a CEL. I can't find anywhere if this is normal behavior or if I did something wrong. I've tested multiple resistors, so I'm pretty sure that isn't the problem. I clamped the yellow wire with the brown stripe of the MAP sensor below the intake manifold.
