After comparing these two, i will share my opinion. Used the c3 for around 2 months now. The icarsoft for a year or so.
Here is what i found:
MY problem for example: the headlight adjustment, its possible to recalibrate them with the icarsoft BUT it doesnt work. My error with the adjustment was instanly fixed with the c3. The icarsoft moves them up and down, but it does NOT recalibrate them for example.
Some things like airbag codes from child recognition are not available on the icarsoft.
After clearing the codes with icarsoft, then scanning with the c3. Shows about 3-5 more codes. Not extreme but some hidden/historic codes.
The roof is not available to check with the icarsoft as far as i know. It shows SOME functions, but the c3 shows more.

Conclusion
The c3 is very bulky, with an xp laptop (low battery on all these old battery’s) even with a new aliexpress battery its very fast on low.
Also its kind of slow and hard to use the program, it takes around an hour or 2 to fully figure out the programs.
it costs about twice as much, has more errors in 2 months then EVER with the icarsoft.
BUT it is nice to SURELY know all codes are gone if you are experiencing some weird things with the car, it checks EVERYTHING and you can direct new ecu’s to the car if you want.
The icarsoft sometimes (for my idea) doesnt do what it says it has done (see example and the top (about the headlights)
I think i used the EPC and WIS the most until now, i would say that its worth a lot of money on itself.

I would buy the icarsoft if you dont want to spend a lot of money on your car, and just want A LOT of codes to show, and if you have all the money in the world, buy them both. I keep the icarsoft in my car at all times for on the way errors and quick scans. And at home i scan with the c3- just to make sure ecerything shows up.
