OWN RISK!
Key words here.
So, I am novice in MB Diagnostic tool for multiple reasons.
I have plugged the C3 about 5 times in total. The long lasting BUG no AC module connection!
Initially the A/C was working with close to null effect - A/C compressor starts, hissing sound very audible on top of the driver's vent (above the light module) but no matter outdoor temp the "cold air" was not felt. So yes, there is a r134 agent in the system just insufficient. And knowing that I wasn't really bugged it can't connect. Last autumn I charged the A/C - I extracted 530gr out of 850 on label (surprised NOT) vacuumed until the TORR gauge showed good level (really don't remember, but under 2 is OK in most cases) and charged total of 920g (virgin-means fresh, not reclaimed) - that includes the quantity in 3 hoses lengths - blue hose -low P-cold, red hose -high P-hot and yellow hose refrigerant cylinder - manifold body. Manifold gauges were left under pressure as there is no way, they can be sucked into the system (regular A/C and fridge - different story). NOW knowing the A/C works as blowing 4C out of the driver's vent finally got the time to hook-up the diagnostic tool!
Quick check showed, not so much of surprises, but too many surprises!
Did i mentioned it will be long?
What I saw into saved:
Lost connection - well I had the central console out and probably the key was rotated too much to unlock the steering wheel or whatever happened (the VIN was entered as details priod the screens, but as obvious only one of them has it - own risk right). That b1000 was checked and before and the specific module was not part of the data-card/options/hardware of the vehicle (why is enabled I can't say). Don't mind the dates it works*
Some clarity on the sticking indicator, hazard clickers! What wire, fuse, relay is playing up is being discussed and before (haven't open the ccm module to see the relay contacts- yet) waiting for better days as DaDude is outside. Not new, the access to the AC module kicks in again! But the stored errors are visible (QUESTION TO SELF where are they stored if the TAC module is not accessible?) and kinda make sense if block unplugged and key was turned...
Oh and don't worry about the battery - first few check were without the engine running, just moving the acid inside the battery
Picture limitation - last one for the moment:
obviously the Engine ECU has feedback the A/C is working! But the diagnostic can not see it! I have not forgotten the Question to Self
!
I will continue with another entry as the Q to S are multiplying with the diagnostic.
Another "gremlin" is low level of shakes in the rpms - can not say in warm engine only, but honestly can't say it is with coolant reaching 40C let's say.
