You may not be aware that some people turn their "BOSE MODE" off (they don't like the "boomy" subwoofers). This mode can be turned on and off via the SDS. I previously bought an SLK with it turned off, and the dealer connected the SDS and 30 seconds later - the stereo was PERFECT.
Fast forward 10+ years later... The dealers are less familiar with the "older" SLK's. Hence, to speed things up and to make it easy for them...
Can someone reply with a screen shot or describe where in the menu "BOSE MODE" is?
There's also a "BOSE Auto Pilot" on and off (I prefer it OFF).
