R170 SLK Alarms Available New

Hello everyone, I’ve missed you!
Just wanted to give my friends here interested a heads up that FCP Euro has the alarms, pricey, but a new in Mercedes box unit, Bosch, battery date code on mine was 1/23/24 will be having an alarm again soon! See pics, they have 34 in stock and they’re from Spain.

Hi my friends! As soon as I was out of work I went at it!
Removed the blade arms (mark location with tape on windshield 1st!) removed 7 screws,
Undid 2 zip ties holding bundles. Moved cover back, undid the nut, removed shield and alarm, unplugged. Used vice grips to remove security bolt, put new alarm in sheild and installed in reverse order. It was so nice to hear 3 beeps when the lock on fob was pressed. Also, it alarmed automatically after.
took about 1 hour 15 minutes earth time 😂

Also, if the lower windshield seal could be ordered before this job, it could be replaced at the same time! The shroud encapsulates it against the windshield. Take care! J
