I have the diagrams for the older part # A210 540 00 72 but they don't seem to work in my facelift 2001 R170. I have a couple of the K40's with part # A170 545 02 05 K40's but I can't get them to work either and I think I've still got wiring issues with them and need a wiring diagram to check it out.

Thank you for the diagram. Now I understand my problem which is that I am not getting a ground signal on pin A-2 of the K40 module which means that the K9 (which is the Engine Control Relay) inside the K40 module is not activating. That ground is supposed to be supplied by pin 11 of the C4 plug on the ME-SFI module. So now I'm guessing that the ME-SFI module is not turning on.
Does anyone have any thoughts about how I can test to see if the ME-SFI is powered on or if it is turned off???
