A delightfully warm and enchanting mountain lodge nestled in a quiet forest hollow of the High Sierra near Yosemite National Park.
Guestrooms are enticingly romantic and feature fire stoves, private full bathrooms, flat screen Television, DVD players, hi-speed wireless internet, luxury 5400 thread count sheets. They have exquisite views of the forest that envelop the Inn.
Each day begins with the aroma of fresh brewed coffee and teas, followed with a delicious gourmet breakfast served at 8:30AM that includes fresh fruit, juice, a magnificent hot entrée such as Decadent French Toast, Scrumptious Quiche or Eggs Benedict made by Stephanie McCaffrey. Relax in the beautifully decorated dining room or outdoors on the wrap around deck surrounded by nature and wildlife. If you have special dietary needs please advise Stephanie the owner in advance.

We will meet at Mel & Faye’s Diner 31 Highway 88, Jackson, CA. 95642. Phone 209/223-0853.
LUNCH:
We will have lunch there at Mel & Faye’s Diner, afterwards we will head to Twain Harte. Please ask for separate checks when ordering.
DRIVE:
We will leave the diner at approximately 12:45PM. Heading South to Twain Harte.
This should be an excellent beautiful drive along Highway 49.
LODGING CHECKINS:
B&B/Lodging: We will check in to our lodging around 3-4pm, Saturday May 20th.
There is a Complimentary wine down & cheese Happy hour at the B&B between 5-6pm for guests lodging there.
Dinner:
Saturday dinner at 6:15PM at the Restaurant Eproson House 22930 Twain Harte Drive, Twain Harte, CA. 95383 Phone 209/586-3700.
SUNDAY:
Breakfast is served at 8:30AM for those staying at the McCaffrey B&B.

We will leave at 10:30AM for a fantastic drive up to Calaveras Big Trees Redwood state Park. $10.00 entrance fee please have cash available.
About the Park:
Calaveras Big Trees State Park preserves two groves of giant sequoias in the North and South Groves of the park. There is a visitor center which we will stop by and check out things in the park.
A brief history:
The colossal trees stand in quiet testimony to prehistoric times. These massive relics, which can reach a height of 325 feet and a diameter of 33 feet, descended from trees that were standing when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and birds, mammals, and flowering plants began to appear. Some of today’s trees are thought to be as old as 2,000 years. The Miwok respected them and made careful use of them.
