Hello guys,
I just bought an SLK230 last week, I've used this website beforehand quite a lot for information about this car.
I was looking for a fun daily driver which is reliable and somewhat affordable, at first I was looking for a miata but these cars are either full of rust or crazy expensive over here!
The retractable roof is my favourite thing about this car since there is an increasing amount of sunny days in the year, but there is still plenty of rain to want a proper roof. This car has acceleration, comfort and reliability!
My SLK is 'low milage' since it has only 115.000km driven when I bought it (71.500 miles). It has some small scratches but it feels like a new car while driving and so far has been great fun!
Today I installed Bluetooth in my original radio, the CD input is connected to a Bluetooth connector so now I can play music via Bluetooth when I press the CD button. Literally invisible Bluetooth upgrade since the connector is hidden behind the radio along with the original cables. The connector cost me only 50 euros and I haven't seen anyone else use this exact method on this website.
I can make a separate post explaining if anyone is interested.
