I'm Game.
Been wanting a
Ferrari 328 for a long time.
It would be a real hunt to find one that has been well maintained and preserved, not get stuck with the tab for previous neglect. As a car, its a fundamentally great machine, the issue is provenance.
The 328 has the magical combination of timeless styling and simplicity.
No power steering, no power brakes, no electronics, all analog.
Mid engine balance, gated manual transmission.
A car that requires talent to drive well.
In the age when a cheap electric car will beat your a$$, the machine better bring a better experience.
The 328 has this in spades.
It isn't scary fast, but entertaining.
Whilst I search for the dream 328, I have a 718 Cayman to carve a few corners.
The 718 is amazing, but really wanting to at least drive a 328 once to get the experience.
Also love the 550 Maranello, 458, and a few others, but the prices keep going up, and these models are far more complex which would be a drag on reliability and expense to maintain. The 328 is well regarded as one of the best Ferraris ever made.
