I am not saying anything about the power!
Just from time to time the nut behind the wheel makes the difference.
Way off power subject, my 96 Accord with only 115-118hp was able to reach 90kmph on 2nd gear before the breaker engages.
I have tried it only 1 time...step on it 2nd - breaker, 3rd - breaker, 4th - 160 and pulled off my right foot as the uphill was done and the downhill was, let's say good spot for speed camera guys.
The motorway speed limit was/is 140 so...a bit of both: too expensive and Johnnie walker for 6 months were good stimulation.
As Bob mentioned the sound is nice

I don’t even know what I’m looking at, apart from the unbelievably confusing traffic lights, the complete absence of any hills, strip malls and the sunshine. It would appear that the main feature of where you live Jeff is a complete lack of curves – I think I’d go crazy. But it does help to understand the American obsession with going very quickly over a quarter of a mile.

I must say, when we lived in North America the absence of bendy roads made me understand why there was an obsession with "muscle cars". We would drive miles to get to a road with a few twists in it...just to drive that road!

Mainland Australia can be a little like that on the major highways, especially on the modern ones. Tasmania is more like UK. Hills, villages and things like that. Strange little junctions in the towns, until you realise houses were there since 1810, so the roads went around them.

It's strange because Australian culture has picked up influences from both places and you get big muscly cars like Monaros and Toranas mixed in with Minis and Morris Minors.
