Exactly. Some like the 'rat rod' look (better than what that guy did to that poor SLK). I'm one of them but hey, with modern engine/components underneath, the ultimate sleeper.

Respect for the vision and the effort, but the color, extra badging and massive wing is unnecessary IMO. I'd love to see this in black or white, with a more subtle wing, perhaps even debadged and a different interior scheme.
Looks like Halfords reach is further than the UK. 
Interesting to see how folk do their thing though the welding at around 1.15 looks well dodgy.
Having watched countless television shows such as Fast and Loud, Iron Ressurection, Car SOS and Salvage Hunters Classic Cars, i would like to see follow up shows from say two years plus after the cars were finished to see how the cars last.

I like the DTM look not a fan of the chrome and badges but the work that went into creating that, it would have taken a lot of time and effort and I respect that... Not everyone will like that kind of thing but I'm sure it put a smile on the owners face when he/she drove it and that's what matter 👍
It's a bit over the top for me but still I admire the passion this part of the world has for these cars.

So what, looks nice and owner obviously loves it. I wouldn't been seen dead in or near it. My Ego doesn't need an AMG to make me feel good. You guys are like a bunch of whining sissy boys. Get out of the house and polish your cars. . Be Happy and stop complaining.
Going to get a good plastic AMG badge, on ebay put it on my beater PT Looser and become a poser. (If I can keep it off the back of these tow trucks long enough).
