Does anyone have experience overhauling a door lock vacuum pump by replacing the pump? If so, do you have any information for me regarding the purchase of the pump?

The pump is called “PSE”, part no. A1708000548 or A1708000448.
You may want to google the part no. There are lots of them on eBay/breakers/etc.
But what makes you believe that the pump is faulty? What are the symptoms?
