My wife Cheryl and I met up with Ed Fair from Conyers, GA and drove about 18 miles of Little River Canyon in Fort Payne, AL. it was Cheryl and I's first such venture. Ed suggested this location and it was a fun drive. He drove his SLK350 and we had the SLK55. We took some awesome photo's of water falls, streams, rivers, and pools of water. The drive with stops was about 3.5 to 4 hours! We had lunch at Desoto State Park! Ed's a great guy and we are looking forward to the next trip!

For those interested, the Rim of the Canyon appears to be county maintained, so not quite up to State or Federal highway standards. The roads we traveled was all two-lane and all paved, albeit with some washed out areas where loose gravel was applied as a safety precaution. It was a pleasure to drive it again with good company.
