I "Post" this info here because I think all Drivers would benefit from this hearing it.
We had the pleasure of driving our SLK 250 around the Smoky Mountains (USA) this week (June 14-15), in particular, the "The Tail of the Dragon Hwy" (Tenn Rt 129) This Highway is famous with Motorcycles/Sports Car, for its 318 Turns in its 11 miles length and attracts Riders/Drivers from around the World. We saw only one other SLK, which was a Silver SLK171. I would recommend this HWY to anyone but be careful, there are a lot of accidents and crazy people out there.
This was our first Road Trip with our 2015 SLK and we enjoyed having the Top-down 98% of the time. We also experienced the thrilling sensation of "Sports Mode" of the transmission on the mountainous terrain, FANTASTIC! Another option that we really enjoyed and wouldn't be without are the "Seat Scarfs," great idea, I use them every morning in the 50-80 Degree Temps here in Ohio.
