Catching Glances at your car...

Have you ever caught someone staring or glancing at your car? Sometimes they turn around in their seat. A couple people have honked.

I think it's humorous and flattering and a little embarrassing, but it's not like I'm driving a Koenigsegg!

So, I smile and wave.

(And thank god I washed the car.)

Funniest was maybe 3 coaches of Japanese tourists at Lancaster services when in her purple 350.

Whilst respectful, they did everything short of draping themselves over the car.

We just stepped to the side and left them to it.

It was nice that they loved the car as much as us.

I use smart top on mine to raise a smile for the kids too, Jeff. That look of awe and smiles, worth it.

In a world dominated by rolling boxes and pickups something sleek and aerodynamic is going to stand out. I get comments at 4 lane stoplights. Parking lots seem to draw tourists too. Always pleasent conversations and yes I'm guilty of occassional battery abuse with the smarttop as well in the lots.
You are handling the attention well. Comes with the territory.
