Last Top Down Cruising Trip of 2014

My lovely wife and I went cruising through the Ardennes region of Belgium and France today, taking advantage of the last free weekend with decent weather for this year.

We left Herchies, Belgium headed south through Mons on towards Chimay. Great beer from there, didn't stop at the brewery today though.

We kept going South into France, stopping in Charleville-Mézières for a quick visit.

We then turned East headed towards Bouillon Belgium. We stopped at the medievel Bouillon Castle, which dates back to the early 900's.

After spending time in Bouillon, we turned back towards Mons, enjoying the last of the Top Down Cruising weather :)

Great fotos... more SLK in the foreground. Thanks for the memories (holidays in and around Hotton, Namur, Dinant.

Lovely pictures! Reminds me of the trip my wife and I took through the area in 2005, spending a couple of nights in Bastogne between stays in Brussels and Arnhem (yes, we were hitting some of the major battlefields of WW2).
