I did hear a rumour, only a rumour mind, that MB kept changing the name of their red shades while the worked through problems found with their red painted cars. I suppose the thinking was along the lines of: "nnnnnn red" had a reputation for problems, so this year we will call it "zzzzzzz red"
I still dunno if my 55 is OpalRed or Mars Red. Since the sig other calls the FM ”The Red Car” I guess the 55 will be called “The Red RED Car” lol.

Mars red in US--code 590. A "firemist red' is also mentioned with 548 colour code.
