Hi everyone. can somebody please help me verify this is a good car/spec to buy for that price?

How about the mileage, is it a bit high?

ANY help is appreciated as this is my first SLK, or any Mercedes at all.

Update: The above didn't work out in the end as it was not ULEZ complaint

TLDR; final 2 I'm deciding between: (please insert your two cents!!)

Option 1: 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK 1.8 SLK200 BlueEfficiency AMG Sport G-Tronic+ Euro 5 (s/s) 2dr
Option 2: Used 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK SLK200 BLUEEFFICIENCY AMG SPORT for sale | Canterbury Motoring World

Advisory notice item (s): 4
• Front Tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge both sides (inner edges) (5.2.3 (e)) - that is how front tyres normally wear on the R172. Not easy to see at a glance. Some have been shocked to see the canvas when changing tyres.
• Rear Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened both sides. (1.1.14 (a) (ii)) - possibly lack of use. Quite common on many cars.
• MINOR - Front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated both sides. (5.3.4 (b) (i)) - something to have a look at and fix down the line.
• Nearside Rear coil spring location (at wishbone) - what about it? Is it displaced, rusted, broken [though that is a fail]. Read up on severely rusted rear subframes. This point needs to be clarified.
All bargaining points when agreeing a price.

This most recent was shorty following a MOT failure with this reason:
Reason (s) for failure: 1
• Nearside Front Coil spring fractured or broken (5.3.1
(b) (i))

Note that red calipers where not offered so check for other modifications on suspension and ECU before purschase.
An excellent point! It could be one of two things. Someone has "modded" the car to be that little bit of an attention grabber (so has he driven it in the same manner??!!) or two: someone really wanted the car to look special and has been tweaking it and caring for it just that little bit more. Other clues will be present on the car and in the service history to confirm the option ...
